Mv Endeavor: world’s largest cement carrier
Mv Endeavor was delivered by Dry dock World’s Nanindah Shipyard, Indonesia end June 2009, to owners Setaf-Saget (Bourbon Group), France.
As a special purpose vessel, she is able to load/discharge up to 800 mt/hour using a pneumatic system with rubber hoses connecting shore side facilities with the vessel’s four cargo holds. These have a combined capacity of 26.830.46 cu.m. – an awful lot of cement! Secondary mechanical handling can also be utilized.
Capt. Mikhail Gumenyuk is in command of the seventeen members of the full trade will be for Cementia Holding – cement supply to Port Louis, Mauritius.
